Ocean Scene with Dutch Ships

Regatta Hotel
April 2017: We have received an Art Request for a painting to remind a husband and wife of their first meeting.
The painting is to be of the Regatta Hotel which is where the couple first met. They saw each other across the bar and it was love at first sight! They have just built their first home at Airlie Beach and the painting will be hung in the living room.

Irish Farm
April 2017: We have received an Art Request which will hopefully be a wedding gift from a wife to her new, Irish husband. The artwork is to reflect his childhood and the two years they lived in Ireland together.
The painting is to be of his favourite place, the farm which has a long, gravel lane lined with stone walls and trees which sightly overhang the lane. At the end of the lane are stone sheds with red tin roofs which have chickens and chicks at the base. The farm also has cows which spill out of the sheds and into the lane. The painting should reflect the beautiful green that Ireland is so famous for.
The dimensions of the painting would be approx 76 x 76 x 4 cm and the budget is $650.

Vanuatu Ladies
November 2016: We have received an Art Request from a lady who has a holiday home in Vanuatu and who would like to bring some of her Vanuatu life into her Brisbane apartment.
She would like a painting of group of Vanuatu ladies in island dress - not a market scene, maybe laughing or talking together or piling into a banana boat. Would like lots of bright, vivid colour - overall, something bright and full of movement rather than a serene tropical scene.
The dimensions of the painting would be approx 60 x 60 x 4 cm, but a landscape orientation. The budget is $500.

People's Palace
November 2016: We have received an Art Request from a home-sick Brisbane fellow who currently lives in the UK.
He met my wife for the first time in the bar at the People's Palace Backpackers in 1997. She had just arrived in Brisbane - an English woman backpacking around Australia. They danced and talked all night then sat on the kerb out front on the corner till sunrise still talking.
The Art Request is for a painting of the whole or most of the building, a night or sunrise view, with a couple out the front. This will be a Christmas gift for the Requester's wife.
The dimensions of the painting would be approx 70 x 70 cm. The painting should be able to be rolled e.g. watercolour or acrylic on canvas and the budget is $650.
